About S.C.O.R.E. Council
SCORE Council is a student organization consisting of one representative from each class at Wilson. The representatives are elected by their peers in September and serve the entire year. New representatives are elected each school year. In order to run for SCORE Council, students complete an application, which must be signed by a parent/guardian and their teacher. Applications will be available to students in September.
SCORE Council meets approximately once a month to plan school events and activities, such as spirit days, dances, fundraisers, and the annual talent show. Unless otherwise noted, all meetings take place on Mondays after school in Ms. Wilmarth's room (Red Team Room 112) until 3:15.
SCORE Council representatives are expected to follow and promote the SCORE Code, which is Wilson's school-wide code of conduct. S.C.O.R.E. stands for Safety, Citizenship, Ownership, Respect, and Etiquette. Wilson students are expected to demonstrate these five attributes at all times at school and SCORE Council-sponsored events.
